Medicinal mushrooms are amazing and have been long studied for their health benefits. They’re loaded with tons of good stuff for our bodies and its health. They’re high in beta d-glucans, which offer amazing immune support. They’re also full of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which helps neutralize those free radicals that are harmful to our systems. They’re also high in polysaccharides, which were found to boost macrophages- macrophages are a type of white blood cell that works in the immune system that basically digests the not-so-good crap that may be in our bodies, including cancer cells- so these are super anti-cancer! In addition, medicinal mushrooms have been found to help balance our blood sugar levels and also support brain health- because what that does is stimulates nerve growth factor, which is necessary for our brains growth, maintenance, and survival of neurons. Neurons are pretty important- they’re the cells that receive, process and transmit information in our brains- we kinda need ‘em! This is not all medicinal mushrooms are capable of- they also help improve endurance and stamina, as well as encourage improved and increased blood flow, which gets that oxygen moving through our systems faster- which are great especially for athletes.
This blend also includes my garden grown thyme, sesame seeds, white + black peppercorns, crushed red pepper, mustard seed, a little bit of sea salt*, wild onions, black garlic, and my most favorite herb, nettles. It is a super herb and loaded with vitamins and nutrients.
